God’s word is pregnant with life and its
many applications into our lives are not usually seen at the outset.
It’s only afterward that we
reflect and gain knowledge from what we have gone through. God’s precious gift
of
His word is light and life to
us.
As we look at the command to “Love God with all our heart
mind soul and strength”; then that will shape
our affections witch shapes
our emotions. We find truth in Christ intellectually, spiritually and emotionally.
(It is all held in check by
the word) Intellectually through the word of God, Spiritually through the Holy
Spirit,
and emotionally through
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Why is this a big deal? Because we are not balanced and
healthy without it and only God can supply
you with what you need. Remember
the enemy goes about as a roaring lion and he is a deceiver. Popular culture
is
a tool to manipulate you and disfigure your emotional makeup.

Run to the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the everlasting fountain
