Emote This!

The measurement of Christianity for most is love; God is love so that is the standard. The reality however is the Gospel is the true standard. It is the measurement of love which shows that love serves is not self-serving and in fact sacrificed self for others. That's a far cry from the emotional guilt manipulation foisted by the immature who are themselves emotional slaves. The correct motivation for decisions and life is truth, Christ is the truth! God calls us to reason together. Use your mind and consider the Gospel implications, Christ wears a crown. To deny that is to deny Him and His sacrifices. Would you look into the eyes of this king saying I'm not moved or motivated by you? This is why he will return with a sword and he will not ask how you feel.

Have you ever been accused of being insensitive? That’s not loving, that’s not Christian. You may hurt someone’s feelings.
Will the wages of sin hurt their feelings?   How about hell?  àLook at Ezekiel 9
If we shudder and are confused by this it is because our hearts do not perceive Gods passion for Justice
Our culture is drunk on emotional worship, it’s what we eat and breathe. –That is Idolatry.
Exodus 20:3 “you shall have no other gods before me”
Our God is Love; 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
Micah 7:18 Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.

Whoever is without sin can throw the first stone-John 8:7
Go and sin no more John 8:11
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.   Psalm 51:17
Your self-righteousness is great rebellion --Our brokenness is loving God and submitting to His Mercy
Psalm 51 – Create in me a clean heart – That is our heart before this great king. Our brokenness for sin is Love for God

Secular humanism--That invisible enemy of reality Lurking about the corridors of our lives screaming down all opposition while blurring the distinctions of right wrong good and bad. It is the enemy of objective truth real science accurate history and the absolute necessity of self control accountability and responsibility. It's claws sink deep into its slavish servants so as to require unending servitude. Struggling against its grasp seems to be the pursuit of oblivion yet it's that road that Leeds to true freedom that is Liberty found in the creator we call God. Secular humanism--The religion of half truths and fat lies. It's content with apathy and ignorance so long as you reject the sovereign crown rights of Jesus Christ. That's who the bible says he is. You must also tear up our founding documents as they are resting on the foundation of that great book. All men are created with certain unalienable rights that come from their God described in that bible where we find the laws of nature's God. In the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2017! Amen.

You are guaranteed failure in some areas of life without prayer and fasting because what is bound on earth is bound in heaven. There is a real connectedness between the two. So when Paul says our weapons are not carnal it is great assurance that not only are we not alone in the fight but we also play an important role. One day we will judge angels.

The Gospel is often spoken of but rarely understood, I believe we need an accurate and practical definition the spurns us on with passion for our King and Savior.

If you don’t know the Gospel hear the Gospel or see the Gospel then you are a slave of this present evil age and not a child of the King.

Consider this

Colossians 3:21. Fathers do not provoke your children to wrath and do not discourage them.   It is actually sin to discourage your children; the overarching paradigm of parenting is life and hope. (Peculiar to you and your child;  individual application. ) When you are done you have built trust , a platform to speak and be heard ( it must be selfless, which is the foundation of love). And then hope which is motivation to move and pay the suffering price of maturity which is victory in life. Along the way your frustration is a key to how much your flesh is involved in your actions; after all God says "what good is your anger" (Jonah 4:4) anger displays your self motivation to your children while you are calling them to die to the same. Timidity and self will have the same master as anger, self. In the end your personal battle with self creates a life experience for your family, building a platform for future relationships between you and your child's future family.  At some point within the home a mother should loose her control over her sons and exhibit an relationship built on respectful appeal. So your son learns to hear  the same from his future wife.  (1Timothy 2:12)
When we listen to worldly music we deny the truth showing a lack of concern for Christ ignore his crown rights and prove we are not straining toward  maturity. Being soldiers more interested with self -titillation than to stand fight and serve the high calling of God. Carousing with the enemy bolstering their dogmas the hand of this soldier forgets how to grasp his weapon. It's one thing to forget the battle and fail to fight, it's quite another to join the enemy in their degradation of the King.

The Bible is the historical legal scientific truth but instead of patronizing our emotional sensual self seeking nerve it exposes it. At this point sinners repent and arrogant stand aloof.
